Having been to many railways I can say that this is one of my favourites, all the staff are very friendly, the buffet is fantastic, the shop has great variety and books galore (my dad loves that bit). Well done to you all. (Tracy, Staffordshire)
Our Miniature Railway
The miniature railway runs round the engine sheds and through the woods.
Even though the rails are just seven and 1/4 inches apart, it manages to carry passengers over a girder bridge and a miniature viaduct, and through a tunnel.
It operates when steam trains are running. You may be joined on board by bunnies, teddies and even dragons on our special events days!
Rides on the miniature railway are free, and you can have as many as you like.
